Raya Pro Course

Previous Post

I’ve been fairly quiet on the internet for the past few months, not posting on my blog or social media, because I’ve been working hard to bring some awesome updates to Raya Pro, and develop a comprehensive course, called ‘Mastering Raya Pro‘, showing users how to use its powerful tools with ease.

The course teaches us how to quickly and easily blend exposures for any scene, if the scene was shot correctly. I have been saying for a few years now that we no longer need HDR software to blend our exposures. This course is evidence of that. Ranging from simple landscapes to advanced, ‘difficult’ interior shots, we look at how to blend every scene with ease.

I teach some powerful ideas that have drastically enhanced my own images over the years. There’s hours worth of non-stop, waffle-free tutorials. And the RAW files are also included for you to follow along.

Armed with Raya Pro, and the superb techniques in this Raya Pro course, we can not only blend any scene, we can enhance any image to make sure we realize its fullest potential according the vision we have for it.

Below are a few image that we learn to create in the course, which will become available (if all goes according to plan), on Friday the 22nd of January.

Exciting stuff Jimmy, having recently purchased Raya Pro, this is something that I would benefit greatly from. Look forward to the update at the end of Jan in the meantime. All the best.

Hi Jimmy. I really looking forward to the course. Me too purchased Raya
Pro. What annoys me with PS CC is that each time I update CC my Raya Pro is gone and also my Easy Panel and I have to install all over again. Is there some thing I do wrong or is there a simple solution for this problem

    • Hi Bert, Adobe don’t like to make things easy for us. Unfortunately the only way to make sure that you can upgrade but also keep your current panels, is to upgrade, but also keep your current version of Photoshop, which is possible under the Advanced Installation settings in CC. This then gives us developers enough time to make sure our software will work with the new Photoshop, but it also means you don’t have to go without any plugins for any time.

  7. Steve Crowley says:

    Looking forward to this!!

  8. I am excited for more comprehensive training for Raya Pro. Will this training also touch more on luminosity masks? I still struggle with these.

  9. Bob Johnston says:

Have been doing a lot more than i could with HDR since almost the first HDR article was published. Have used Photoshop since V1 but did not like it and would not give up my darkroom, until LR 3 was released.. Not until V3 of PS came out did I feel it was worth using for anything. Since getting my first camera with RAW, have never used HDR…. Have always used Lightroom and Photoshop as a combination, using PS to finish images that could not quite be what I wanted in Lightroom.

  10. Birbantello says:

Just purchase with the combo Raya + course, It is a very good work!!! can’t wait for the update Thank you Jimmy!!!

  11. Wayne Pollard says:

Hi Jimmy, I have just been through the course for the first time (I intend to go back, as there is a lot to absorb) I think your clear instructions and the examples you allow us to work with are excellent teaching aids and worthy companions to the wonderful Raya Pro panel. Version 1.1 is a great update. Keep up the good work Jimmy, and happy travelling.
