Canal St. Martin
French Journal Day 157 (Travel Diary Day 237)
I’ve spent day after day recently creating an advanced HDR photography course that will include 32 bit processing, luminosity/luminance masks, and getting the most out of ACR, amongst other things. I actually started designing it immediately after creating my beginner’s HDR tutorial. I also teach how to edit using a completely non-destructive workflow on Photoshop.
I enjoy these projects but when I’m immersed in them I’m pretty much non-communicative. I seem to have no awareness of any questions Rachel may or may not be asking me, which she finds frustrating. I aim to be finished by next week, just in time for our departure from Paris.
Tonight, however, I’m having another evening away from my computer as we are meeting an ex-colleague of ours (Rachel and I worked in the same place when we were still home) for a couple of beers and a chat.
I wish I could write more but I have a German Shepard dog sitting at my feet making my feel guilty for taking her for a later-than-usual walk.
Today’s Photo – Canal St. Martin.
This is where we live, and walk the dog each evening!

This is one of the best I’ve seen Jimmy. You truly outdid yourself. I could see this one on a wall.
Thanks a million Don. I really appreciate it 🙂
